Thales Academy, a private K-12 school with 12 campuses in North Carolina, began their Pittsboro, NC campus in Vineyards at Chatham Park with the construction of a lower school. Designed as a prototype, the building includes classrooms, offices and a multipurpose room. Floor-to-ceiling windows engage students with natural light and state-of-the-art technologies from a computer lab, to Apple TVs in every classroom deliver a modern learning environment.

The two-story school is framed with structural steel and can be easily adapted to multiple sites in the future.
