This new 61,000 SF Foundation YMCA facility is helping revitalize downtown Wilson, NC. It features two gymnasiums, two indoor pools, walking track, fitness rooms, classrooms, offices for Health Care Foundation and other support spaces. The YMCA is part of the redevelopment of an entire city block that also includes a multi-family development, banking center, retail and office space.

The facility also serves as the hub for after-school programs for middle schoolers, with their innovative Y-GIG program designed to introduce students to the world of opportunities in their backyards. After-school participants will be able to explore art, swimming, basketball, photography, cooking, and STEM activities.
