This four-story, 110,000 SF state-of-the-art building features teaching and research facilities to support the 5,000+ students taking Chemistry classes at ODU every year as part of their STEM-H majors. The building houses 9 teaching laboratories, a tutoring/active learning center, cutting-edge research laboratories and faculty offices, all under one roof. It also delivers interactive collaborative spaces, a student success center, and an active learning classroom to excite more students about STEM majors and professions.
The building also features the Michael and Le Digital Theater and Planetarium, a 122-seat immersion experience with 3D model simulation, free-flight navigation through the universe and a cutting-edge laser projector.
