Ballantyne Ridge High School (formerly Ardrey Kell Relief High School)

This new four-story, 300,000 SF high school constructed in Charlotte, North Carolina relieves the overcrowding at three nearby schools–one that was built and is at capacity less than 2 years later. Ready to welcome students in August 2024, this fast-track project is just 24 months in the making. The main school building is a combination of structural steel framing and load bearing masonry walls. It features 100 classrooms, auditorium, gymnasium, dining, and other support spaces. And, of course, no high school would be complete without athletic support buildings, fields, and site retaining walls. Let’s go Wolves!
