Mike Taber, MSI
Structural Inspector/Reinforcement Rockstar

Mike has been part of the Lynch Mykins team for over 2 decades! As someone who’s inspired by the process of taking a concept and collaborating with a team until it’s a reality, he found inspections as a natural career path.

There are two projects over the course of Mike’s career that really stand out in his mind. It was his honor and a privilege to be part of creating the P-899 Special Operations Forces Navy facility featuring a garden honoring fallen service men, women, and canines. The centerpiece for the garden was a 35-foot section of a column from the South Tower of the World Trade Center. Another, was the Ferguson Center for the Performing Arts at CNU. The complexities of the facility’s infrastructure and components combined to produce a spectacular building.

Mike is a voracious reader who has too many favorite books to list. When he’s away from the Norfolk office, he enjoys spending time with his family camping, hiking, and traveling. You can also find him putting his creative skills to the test with his woodworking.
