Elyse grew up in historic Valley Forge, PA, not far from where she landed a first job at The Franklin Institute – one of the most famous museums in the US. Always in pursuit of knowledge, she visited the museum multiple times each year as a child. So, it was super cool to get to run exhibits and see how things work behind the scenes as an adult – especially the brain exhibit!

Elyse is a world-traveler. Of the many places she’s visited; China, Japan, Argentina, and dozens of others, her favorite is Paris, France. She believes it may just be the draw of the 125-year-old Eiffel Tower, which to this day remains one of the world’s greatest examples of structural engineering.

Starting her career in aerospace and defense at Lockheed Martin, she then moved on to pursue her MBA while wearing a million hats at a startup! Then, she led business operations and technology transformation at an international children’s toy company before joining the LM family.

She’s equal parts logic and vision and that’s just what we rely on her for. Next time you see Elyse, ask her which Star Trek character she’s most like. You might be surprised!
