This basketball-loving husband of his high-school sweetheart, and father of three, grew up in China. Bowen came to us through mutual friends at NC State University, where he completed his masters degree in engineering. He’s an excellent chef of Chinese cuisine, loves playing pranks on his dog, and get this – all three of his children were born on a Sunday. His son, nicknamed Ke Le in Chinese, which means “Coke” in English, named his dog “Pepsi.” A Coke and his Pepsi – how sweet is that?

Bowen’s first job was performing structural analysis on telecommunication towers and now he’s flexing his structural design muscles every day on a variety of building types and materials. He really gets excited about post-tensioned concrete and office tower design! Pretty sure not many other peoples’ jam, but we’re glad it’s his!

Next time you see Bowen, ask him how he got the scar on his chin. It may involve a dog whose name is NOT Pepsi!
