Ashish Chapagain, MEng, EIT
Design Engineer

Ever wanted to build your own Iron Man suit? Ashish did. In fact, that’s what first got him interested in engineering. While he hasn’t (yet) built a working suit, he’s channeling that same passion into designing reinforced concrete structures that stand the test of time. With experience working on residential and commercial RCC buildings in Nepal and now in the U.S., Ashish thrives in collaborative problem-solving—which is why “Collaborate” is his favorite part of the Lynch Mykins process.

When he’s not designing, Ashish is hiking, riding motorcycles, and leveling up in video games. He’s tackled treks to Tilicho Lake (one of the highest lakes in the world at 16,138 feet!) and Annapurna Base Camp. Back home in Nepal, he spent his free time riding through the hills of Kathmandu—something he hopes to do more of in the U.S.

If you ever need a strong coffee, a great book recommendation, or a reason to laugh, Ashish has you covered. And if you want to test his Guns N’ Roses fandom, just cue up a song and see if he knows all the lyrics.

Ask Ashish about his wildest trek, his dream motorcycle ride, or why he’d pick dinner with Emma Watson in a heartbeat.
