Bryce Lumpkin, PE
Senior Project Engineer/Chief Architect Whisperer

Ever wonder how a building goes from “cool idea” to “wow, it’s standing”? Bryce lives for that transformation. With a knack for lateral analysis, steel detailing, and mass timber design, he’s the kind of engineer who thrives on solving complex puzzles—especially the ones no one else wants to touch. His favorite part of the Lynch Mykins process? Collaborate. Because buildings don’t rise in isolation—they’re the product of great teamwork, inside and out.

Bryce comes to LM from a string of notable firms in Seattle and has worked on major projects like The Emerald and Nexus towers, the Walmart Campus Expansion, and the University Apple Store, where he took full ownership of the lateral design (and proudly battled tough soil and pristine finishes).

When he’s not wrangling structural details, Bryce is lifting weights, gaming, gardening, or spending time with his wife of nearly 11 years and their energetic 4-year-old daughter. He’s got a secret talent for Guitar Hero, a soft spot for carrot cake, and still talks about the time he high-fived Jimmy Fallon.

His dream vacation? Somewhere with a beach and a cozy hotel bed, preferably not far from spicy chicken teriyaki.
