What started as two existing historical residential facilities near the Norfolk Naval Shipyard is now office space for the relocated NAVSEA Shipbuilding Support Office (NAVSHIPSO) and Plant Equipment Support Office (NAVPESO) organizations.

As part of the 21,368 SF adaptive reuse, structural repairs and strengthening were needed along with new egress stairs and chair lift and multiple elevators. Seismic upgrades of the existing structure were also completed.

Working with historic materials and preserving as much of the original construction, these new offices provide much-needed space for current and future Department of Defense needs.
