Renovation of Lenovo’s North American Headquarters in Research Triangle Park spanned two existing four story structural steel framed commercial office buildings (Building 7 and Building 8) totaling 640,000 SF. The space is now used as a server manufacturer and testing facility.

Additional structural framing was required to support heavy equipment, servers and laboratory equipment. The work also included a new 45,000 SF precast concrete framed auxiliary building to house test chambers and additional laboratory space. This project was completed over a fast-tracked schedule of merely six months through intense collaboration among the entire project team. Now that’s moving fast and doing it right! The project is LEED Certified Gold.
