606 Fayetteville Street, Durham, NC – now known as Heritage Square – is a joint venture redevelopment of a 10-acre site in the Hayti area. Multiple phases are leaning into the fast-growing local life sciences industry bringing multi-story Class A office space, purpose-built laboratories, and residential units to the area.
Phase I of Heritage Square includes a 300,000 SF, 11-story lab and office building, a 315,000 SF 15 story residential tower, a 20,000 SF, retail activation, and 330,000 SF of subterranean parking. The lab and office building are above 2 levels of subterranean parking, allowing for easy access to the building for employees and alleviating parking congestion in the area. The residential tower is above 4 levels of subterranean parking and 5 levels of above grade parking. The project is targeting Green Globes Certification.
