Christine Bendixen, PE
Design Director/Ultimate Work Mom

Christine describes structural engineering as “one large puzzle.” In fact, it was her love of building and puzzles that led to her choosing architectural engineering as a course of study. She minored in math, so “Calculate” is the part of the Lynch Mykins’ process she identifies with the most. As a math minor, she always follows the numbers.

Her favorite project since joining Lynch Mykins has been Fort Leonard Wood Replacement Hospital. One of the largest buildings she’s designed, it holds special significance for her. If she could give her younger self some advice, Christine would say, “Life is about the journey and not the destination. Always enjoy the moment!”

Christine’s biggest passion is her family. If you ask her about her children, be prepared to sit a spell. She can talk about them all day. Ask her about their 10-day trip around the Southwest. After flying into Denver, they grabbed a rental car and drove to San Diego and back. After visiting ten National Parks, the San Diego Zoo and Las Vegas, she has plenty of great stories to share.
