General Description of Position:
In this role, you’ll be a champion of Lynch Mykins Brand, Culture, and Values. You’ll lend your strategic and operational expertise to the team on all people-related matters. As a team of one, you’re responsible for setting the HR strategy and executing it for our 52-person firm. So, get ready to roll up your sleeves! You’ll build programs, processes, and policies based on our current system, rapid growth, and future vision. Needless to say, you are a true ‘people person’ with an intense passion for supporting great teams and helping them thrive. Typical Duties:
The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing.

HR Management:
• Identify, develop, and implement key HR initiatives that will substantially enhance the success of Lynch Mykins.
• Research, recruit and onboard potential new talent for the entire firm based on the needs of each office.
• Develop, revise, maintain and execute onboarding based on the hired role. Always looking to further improve the candidate journey.
• Assist in documentation for employees who voluntarily and involuntarily cease their relationship with Lynch Mykins.
• Responsible for compensation management, administration of benefits, record keeping and maintenance of team member files and all other related documents.
• Develop, maintain and revise HR policies and procedures as the need evolves based on a solid understanding of employment standards and laws.
• Monitors and ensures leadership and subordinates understand and follow HR guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Responsible for vacation tracking company-wide, maintains PTO calendar and accepts or denies PTO.
• Miscellaneous tasks assigned by the Managing Directors, CEO, and President.
• Monitors engineer’s hours vs. those planned and reports major discrepancies to the Managing Directors on a weekly basis.

Culture:
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve on the culture experience by proposing new and innovative ways to keep everyone connected.
• Manage the social calendar.
• Plan and organize the company’s internal events (off-sites, team building events, in-office events, lunch & learns, sporting events, holiday parties, retreats, etc.) manage and administer the company’s culture/events budget.
• Ensure the Lynch Mykins Culture is supported and implemented equally throughout the company
• Monitor and track team member engagement, developing ways to increase involvement or happiness levels across each office.
• Miscellaneous tasks assigned by the Managing Directors, CEO, and President.

Relationship to Others:
Works directly with the CEO, President, CMO, and Managing Directors of all three offices.

Candidate Requirements

• Has a bachelor’s degree in human resource management or equivalent experience.
• Has proven human resource and recruiting skills
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of employment legislation and compliance requirements, HR policies, and best practices
• Ability to think outside the box
• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing HR policies and programs
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; demonstrated influence and diplomacy at all levels.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Is enthusiastic, positive, friendly, and has a great sense of humor!
• Knows the art of persuasion.
